KISS SUCKS!
It seems the BUZZ, a radio in station in Portsmouth, New Hampshire just figured out how much KISS sucks.
Three months ago – when KISS launched their “You Demand It Tour”, Buzz Lumpa’s jumped all over it in an effort to bring KISS back to the Verizon Wireless Arena. The deal was that the band would rout their tour to the cities that wanted them most – and that meant the cities that cast the most votes. Manchester NH did just that – beating out EVERY major U.S. city! We cast more votes than New York City, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and yes- Boston. Over 240 cities were vying for the band – and Manchester NH placed 2nd in the U.S.! And yet, when KISS announced their tour itinerary, Manchester NH was NOT on it. The band chose to play Boston instead. KISS lied to you.
The “You Demand It” Tour was a farce from the outset. KISS has opted to ignore its fans, and go for the money grab in major cities. The way we see it, they lied to you, their fans. To us, that is unacceptable. So we want to let them know how disappointed you are. Please sign the petition below because we believe that KISS should make good on their promise.
If you’re a KISS fan and voted to bring them to NH – DON’T buy tickets to the Boston show. Don’t buy the new cd. Don’t buy anything from the band until they make this situation right. What they did is shameful and we need to let them know…

The War on KISS has begun.
I declared war on KISS back in ‘83.
Thanks for bringing this up and spreading the word. I’ve added it to my own blog and hope others will do the same. What a bunch of frauds…..
Sadly everything KISS does, especially these days is a scam. Don’t believe me, take a look at those two impostors trying to play like and imitate Ace and Peter, that’s as low as you can go. The fact that Gene/KISS promotes one thing and does another like not playing in the city that cast the most votes doesn’t surprise me one bit. Gene has made a career out of pretending to be “all about the fans”, a real rock n roller, and someone who’s all about telling it like it is. To bad he’s none of the things he pretends to be.
I don’t just blame Gene or KISS however as I would ask this. Who’s worse here? KISS or the fans who continue to support them no matter who they imitate, who they mimic, what current band they try to sound like, produce albums sold as KISS but really feature very little playing from certain members of the band, etc. People keep supporting the “Gene and Paul” project perhaps out of nostalgia or perhaps they’re just willing to accept anything with the name KISS on it. Peronally I’d prefer to go see a good KISS tribute band, at least we know those guys are imitation artists and they’re not being sold as KISS.
